The Transcend ESD420, ESD410C, ESD380C and ESD310 models support iPhone ProRes 4K 60fps video recording. However, to support 4K 120fps recording, these models require a storage capacity of either 2TB or 4TB.
Before recording iPhone ProRes videos, it is recommended to format the ESD regularly or format it each time before recording. (Note: Formatting will erase all data on the device, so please remember to back up your data before proceeding.) This practice ensures that the transfer speed of the ESD remains optimal.
The firmware architecture of the ESD releases all cache blocks after each formatting, ensuring that the ESD can deliver optimal performance to meet the requirements of iPhone ProRes recording.
